36 week checkup

33-36 weeks - Honeydew Melon....
So I just had my 36wk checkup. I'm 50% effaced, 1cm dialated, and the baby has dropped to station -2 (or was it +2??? - whichever one is above the bone). She said that was pretty much right on schedule for 36-37 weeks. I don't know, I just don't feel like I'm going to make it 24 more days.

SURPRISE SHOWER AT WORK!

Click the pic above to see more detail!
I suspected it - but wasn't sure, and I sure wasn't expecting what I got! All I can say is that I work with some of the best women you can find! And they know me all too well! Yes, you see a life jacket for Baby T. when he/she gets old enough to go boat riding, lots of froggie outfits, a home made camo baby blanket, pacifiers, camo outfits, green crocs, and a basket of baby goodies. Of course there was more, but too much to name!

GRATEFUL AGAIN

Earlier this week a neighbor down the road stopped by with some hand me down items. She was on her way to take them to Kings Daughters but wanted to give me the baby stuff if I wanted it. I ended up getting another car seat and base, a bassinet, a snugli carrier, johnny jump up, baby blankets, a baby name book, a tub mat, and a Graco pack-n-play. I don't know how much of it I'll use or pass along to another, but I just wanted to say how grateful I am for the generosity of the people in my community :)
