22 weeks 6 days

So I'm a bit late this week with the fruit - but for good reason! Baby T. is slowing down now in growth and will only change every few weeks now! Weeks 21 - 24 are PAPAYA! Of course by now, Baby T. could be smaller or larger depending on his/her growth patterns, but none the less - growing. I feel the baby more and more now and everyday I've started to notice a pattern of movement. A lot of women say they feel the baby more at night, but for me, it's between noon and around 8pm. I especially feel 'little bit' after I eat, and even right now, he's down there bouncing away on my bladder! LOL!

A Banana.........What else is there to say???
Well, I could say Baby T's taste buds are working and now it's tasting everything I'm eating too! That is so weird to me! (oh and Baby T. likes sweets! :) ) For me, it's still steak and cheese!
...and I promised Belly shots back at 20 weeks and I'm so sorry I didn't get them! DH had my camera at work. I'll have to do better this weekend!!!

20 weeks 4 days
Drs. Appointment this morning... GTT test. I don't recommend the drink for pleasure, but it wasn't too bad. I pretty much chugged it down and had a terrible sugar rush, then crash. I won't know the results for a week or so, but my blood pressure was good; 110 over 78 and my pulse was 100. Baby's heart rate has dropped to 149 - right on schedule. I don't go back for another four weeks!

20 weeks 3 days
A Cantaloupe!!!We're just past the halfway mark! I can't believe time is flying by so fast. It feels like just yesterday Baby T. was the size of a blueberry! It's so hard to believe we're already getting our baby registry together and talking about showers and maternity leave. I can pretty much say that Baby T. is most active between 2 and 4 in the afternoon right now. He/She is usually moving around so much during that time that the movements make me feel a little queasy. It's hard to concentrate on work, but that's okay, I'm just happy to be feeling him! I can't wait till DH gets to really feel movements too!

19 weeks 3 days

This week Baby T. is supposed to be the size of a Mango! Although, after our ultrasound, I'm sure is already bigger than that! I'm feeling the movements more and more, but even still there are days I don't feel much. As far as Baby T. is concerned his brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision and touch! Research suggests Baby T. can hear my voice already, so maybe I should start talking to it!?! The site says baby should weight 8.5 ounces, but we already know a week ago Baby T. was 9 ounces, so we're ahead of schedule on that one! As far as I'm concerned, I've had very minimal weight gain, but my belly is now way out there! I'm also starting to plump up around my back and midsection. I plan on posting another belly shot at 20 weeks. I've been lucky about not getting stretch marks so far, no linea nigra or other dark spots, and so far my belly button is still an inny :) !
